International Year 2025-26

anno-internazionale_1.jpg

Sister Sophy from Kenya, Sister Mphatso from Malawi, Sister Maria Alice and Sister Maria Angelica from Brazil, and Sister Marina from Ecuador are young Sacramentine Sisters who, starting in late October 2025 and for approximately one year, will form an international community, along with their Brazilian leader, Sister Idalis.

Living close to the Sisters of the Motherhouse in Bergamo represents an extraordinary opportunity for these young sisters to deepen their understanding of the charism of our Institute. Through theology courses, moments of prayer, and active participation in perpetual adoration, they feel the presence of their Foundress closer than ever.

In a time when peace is frequently challenged, this experience becomes an example of how diversity can be a fundamental resource for growth.

Interculturality, even in religious life, is not an automatic goal, but a journey that requires commitment, awareness, knowledge, and above all love, dialogue, and faith.

Mutual exchange, discussion, and sharing contribute to enriching each sister's journey of faith.

Living together is an opportunity to encounter different cultures and mindsets in a direct and ordinary way, to establish new relationships, to gain pastoral experiences, and to bear witness to the beauty and joy of being women, religious, and Sacramentine Sisters.

A breath of fresh air!
