Opening of the jubilee
A Holy Year has just opened, a Year marked by hope and grace. Our hearts rejoice with joy at the event and we are already anticipating the blessings that this year will bring.
Some of us have already enjoyed the joy of being present at the Opening of the Holy Door and receiving the plenary indulgence.

On Tuesday 24 December Mother Gabriella Grassi, Superior of the Province of Italy, with the Sisters of the Council was present at the opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica.

On Thursday 26 December Sister Lorena participated in the opening of the Holy Door in the Roman prison of Rebibbia.

On Friday 27 December Mother Gabriella and the Sisters of the Council went on pilgrimage through the Holy Door of St. Peter's.

On Sunday 29 December Mother Iolanda with some Sisters of the Mother House participated in the opening rite of the Jubilee in Bergamo, presided over by Monsignor Francesco Beschi. The rite began in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and then continued in the Cathedral.
The celebrations, well organized liturgically and full of meaning, made it possible to prepare hearts for the grace given to us by the Church and to begin the Jubilee journey with enthusiasm and joy.
