A unique opportunity!

ROMA-2015_4_ridi.jpeg

A truly unique occasion saw about fifty of us Sacramentine Sisters gather in Rome: Mother Iolanda met with the Superiors of Italy, the leaders, and some representatives of the other communities in which we are present around the world.

Together, we listened and interacted with Patrizia Morgante on the topic of generative communication; with Father Pietro Antonio Ruggiero, we looked to Christ, the totally simple, in view of the community journeys of the pastoral year just begun.

Together, we knelt before the Divine Presence, prayed, reflected, and conversed in the Spirit, sharing what we believe is essential on a personal and community level to give new impetus to our Sacramentine religious vocation.

Together, we thanked the Lord and celebrated the Sisters who celebrated their twenty-fifth or fiftieth anniversary of religious consecration.

Together we experienced the Jubilee pilgrimage, passing through the Holy Door of St. Peter's, St. Mary Major, and St. John Lateran, and we participated in the prayer vigil presided over by Pope Leo XIV for the Jubilee of Consolation.

Like the sunflower that always gazes at the sun, allowing its heart to be warmed by it and transforming its light into life force, so the experiences of these days have been an opportunity to renew our Sacramentine identity, oriented toward the Sun that is Jesus-Eucharist.

What grace! A beautiful experience!
